« A COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the cornraittee of tbe Pininsula Horße Show and Pas'oral Aesooiation wa3 held at Dinanc-lulle on Saturday last. Pre?ent.- Mi.i>rF. It was decided to ask Mrs H Bell and Mr Djvi's to act as judges for the cjokoiy classes, and Mr Brownlee for the butter classes.
It was decided to ask Mr Low to judge the flower classes, and in the event of his not being able to judge the President and Secretary were ap pointed to find a judge. n- Seven new members were elected. The ladies of Duvauchelle were given permission ti run an afternoon tea stall on Show Djv.
Io was-decide.d to ask tbe Mayor of Akaroa to proclaim Show Day a whole holiday, si) tbat the Akaroa people would havrf tbe opportunity of attending the Show.
