The Gift Battee.—Yesterday the Akaroa Co operative Butter Company Bhipped per SB. John Anderson 46 boxes of butter, representing 1 ,ton 3cwt.. on behalf of suppliers, sharebolders and others, for the Food for Brita'n nnd Belgium Fund. Another box was presented to the fund by Mr H, Haylock, of Akaroa. The company also shipped a few toxes on their own account. This is the first shipment of butter from the Akaroa Factory.
