GENEROUS RESPONSE AT LITTLE RIVER SALE.

At the Little River Btook sale on Tuesday, held at Messrs H. Matson an* Co's central sale yards. Messrs H. Matson & Co offered a number of stock and poultry generously do»----nated by farmers in the surrounding districts, the proceeds from the sale of whfch will go to swell the Poor of Great Britain and Belgium Fund, A number of the lots were resold, so that in all the live stock offered the fund will benefit to the extend of over £37.
