AN ANXIOUS VOYAGE.
Wellington, October 5 After a voyage full of incident the Tainui arrived safely this morning. It is a tribute to the Navy that she reached port on schedule time, and also her master, Commander Moffatt, points out that he left with 300 passengers at a time when the sea journey was fraught with the utmost danger. The Tainui carries two 4.7 guns, and before leaving London the Admiralty placed two expert gunners on board to direct the crew in the bandling of them. THE PAPEETE BOMBARDMENT
