AKAROA AND THE BAYS.
Tbe response to the call for clothing has been most generous, and not one case, but ten cases'of clothes will be sent by the ladiea of Akaroa and the Bays. Yesterday Mesdames Armetroug, Bruce, Pilkington, Mottram, L. Haylock, C Newton, J. Rhodes and Lewifct, assisted by Mr Lewitt, made a start with the packing of the clothes.
