LITTLE RIVER BEVEN ASIDE COMPETITION. [From Our Correspondent] On Saturday a seven a side tourna ment was held at Little River for competition for Mr Chapman's cup, in whioh each of the local clubs entered two teams. In the first round Wairewa B rxset Star B in a closely contested game. Star B, however, woo, L Giddens dropping a goal just on time. Tβ Kotabitanga A met Star A, in whioh play was fast, end though at times both sides looted like scoriDg, at the end of the Fecond ppell no score was registered,- Play being continued Tβ Kotahitanga were awarded a penalty kick from which J. Karetai kicked a goal. In the second round Te Kotahitanga B met Starß, the latter , having an easy win by 15 points to nil. Wairewa A met Te Kotahitanga A in a fast game. , Wairewa forwards rushed the ball in the second spell,

The final, Wftirewa A v Star B, ended in an ea?y win for Woirewa A
