ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS.

The annual meeting of shareholders was held in tbe factory on Monday, 31st August, Tbere was a small attendance. Mr A. H. Mcintosh (chairman of director.") was voted to the chair.

The statement of accounts for tbe year was read and adopted. Profit, and loss account showed a balance of £96 6s 3d, and was as follow*-- :—Dr. genera expenses, £11 5s G-i ; brnui, £47 12s 6d ; dividend, £13 2-: wages, £252 ss; freight nnd enrftge, £89 18s lid ; rates and taxe*-, £3 33s 7d ; insurances, £9 3s; stamp;* and s-tauon cry, £4 3s 7 f i ; renewals and repairs, £53 10s 4d; exchange, £2 7s ; cr. balance, £149 18s Id; rebate*., etc., £10 3s 9d ; intereFt, £5 ls8<l; balance from cheese account, £418 4s 2d. DIRECTORS' KKPOKT "Gentlemen.—We have much pleasure in submitting to you ihe statement of accounts for ibe year ending 31st August, 1914. The season has been a prosperous one, and the company baa sold 71 tons of cheese, most of wbich was shipped Home through the New Zealand Farmers' Association, During the season 1,595,4691b5. of milk were received, with an average test of 3.692, and yielding 58.9071bs butter-int, for wbich suppliers received I2fd per lb , or a total of £3129 9s 2d. Tbere is a balance to credit of profit and loss of £96 6s 3d. It is proposed ro pay shareholders a dividend of 2i per cent , which will amount to £19 9 J , also a further payment to suppliers of Jd per lb. for butter fat (making a total of 13d for tbe season), amounting to £61 7s 2d, leaving a balance of £15 10s Id. Tbe retiring directors are Messrs J. Marshall Hnd F. Hunter, who are eligible for re election, Mr 0- W. Leete agaiu offers bh ser vices as auditor. —(digued) A. H. Molntosh. Chairman."
