LITTLE RIVER STOCK SALE.
Meßsr3 H. Matson & Co h<=ld a stock sale at their Central Saleyards, Little Riv r. on Tuesday last, when there was a smail yarding of stock, but a good attendance of buyers. Prices showed an all round improvement on reoent sales, diiry cow 3 eppecially showing a deoided improvement. A line of 25 dairy cows offered on behalf of Messrs Keenan Bros, sold from £8 to £10 15s. A line of 50 two year-old heifers offered on behalf of Mr J. F. Buohanan (Kinloch). sold for £5 Yearlings realised £2 53 to £3 105, two-year--old heifers £4 to £5, eigbteen-mooths steers £4 2s 6d, eighteen>roonths heifers £4, and a springer at £6 5 3.
