QUARTERLY MEETING

The quarterly meeting of the Ellesmere Licpnsing Committee was held at tbe Courthouse, Little River, on Tuesday, when there .were present— T. A. B. Bailey, Efq., S.M., (chairman), and Messrs J. Patterson, and Geo. Armstrong

The transfer of Bruce Hotel, Aka roa, from W, H. Parkin to 0. W Burland was approved.

Tbe licence of Wseckerle's Hotel, Akaroa., which had not been granted at last meeting pending repairs being executed, was approved, as the repairs were effected.

A conditional license was granted tbe Ellesmere A, and P. Association for a publican's boothfor their annual Show to be held at Leeston on October 22nd.
