GERMAN BAY DAIRY FACTORY.
The annual meeting of the German Bay Dairy factory was held on Wednesday evening. There was a good attendance of suppliers, Mr G, Arm strong (chairman of Directors), being in the chair.
The directors report and balance sheet were adopted as under: — "In submitting this report the directors wish to congratulate the suppliers on the financial success of the season. Milk—The total received was 2,977,6251b3 compared 2,495,102 lbs in the previous season. Fat—The fat contained in the season's milk wee 106,7931b5. with an average test of 8.58 against 94,4361b5, with average test of 8-78 the previous season. Cheese—The approximate output was about 115 tons. Of this amount 207,8701bs were, shipped on open consignment to Bank of New Zealand, London, the shrinkage being slightly over 2£ per cent. The average price realised was 5.79 fob. Lyttelton, Christohurch agenoy—The Tai Tapu Dairy Company have soid 98,6911bs as against 18,6581b3 the previous sea eon, and this netted 5,96 per lb free on Christchufch station Details— 27 681b milk gave lib fat. It took milk to make lib of cheese. Dividend and final payment—We recommend the payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, and a final' payment of 2£d per lb on on the total fat for the past eeaBOD, making a total of 13|d per lb butter fat, Directors—The retiring directors are Messrs G. Phillips, J. A Bell and A. Kotlowski."
