Wellington, August 2. On the information of the police, Frank Bowring Turner was placed in dock to answer a charge of having received on March 30th, 1914, the sum ef; £77 18s from one Peter Lloyd
Davies on terms requiring him to account for or pay same to one Mrs A. J. Burgess, and that be did fraudulently convert the same for his own use, Mr Leathern represented the defendant.
On the application of ChiefDetective Bishop a remand till Friday next was granted. Bail was allowed accused in £20Q and two sureties of t£2oo each.
