Vancouver, July 19
There is much feeling against the Hindoos as the result of the riotous affray in which a force of police and immigration officers were beaten back when they attempted to compel the Komagata Maru to leave the harbour.
The Canadian Government has authorised the employment of militia, and, if necessary, of the sailors of the Canadian, cruiser Rainbow.
The injured men are recovering. The number of casualties among the Hindoos is not known-
