An excellent programme of pictures was sci6ened in tbe Oddfellows' Hall, Akaroa, on Friday evening last when there was only a small attendance. Tho sbar film, "Guiding Light," waß set in the grand wild scenery about a lighthouse, arm the blind girl's asci-ut of the Ji«bilio(i«o tower to turn on tbe light; was followed with tbe keenest. interest. "St, Gothard" was a fine Ecenic, showing the gorgeous bwiss mountain scenery. The Gaumont Graphic was a good number. ''A Leap Year Pmposal" was an excellent comic, and tbe beauty of the heroine very Kt,-iking indeed " Wrong Bottles" was another drama followed with keen intetest, while other comics were "Heroic Rescue," "Near Sighted Cupid " »od " The Leopard and tbe Burglarf,"
