A SERIOUS POSITION. New York, June 24. Four persons were killed at Minneapolis by a tornado and two fatally injured, and > twenty more or less seriously injured at Waterton North; Dakota. The damage to property is estimated at more than a million dollars. Almost complete prostration of telegraph and telephone communica-j tion for a number of hours is reported, j Wind and a rainstorm swept North Dakota, South Dakota and Winconsin. Reports are incomplete. It is possible that the loss of life and property will be largely increased
