On Tuesday, June 23rd, there was a pretty wedding at the Methodist Church, Edgeware road, Christchurch, when Miss M. M. Hillary, a daughter of Mrs Hillary, of Christchurch, was married to Mr W. G. Vogan, of Duvauchelle. Tbe bride wore a becoming royal blue costume and hat to match, She was accompanied by one bridesmaid, her sister, Miss Hillary, who was attired in a navy blue costume. The bride was given away by ber brother, Mr Hillary. Mr Stanley Birdling, nephew of tbe groom, acted 88 best man. The bridegroom's gift to tbe b,ride was a 1 set of fox furs, and his gift to the bridesmaid a bangle watch.
Mr and Mrs Vogan left for Dunedin where the honeymoon will be spent. 'i hey will take up their residence later (>fc the old homestead at Duvauchelle's Bay. -
