LEASES OF THE WAIREWA COUNTY RESERVES.

Messrs H. Matson & Co., in conjnnction with Messrs Pyne & Co., offered the leases of some of the Wat rewa County Reserves at Messrs H. Mataon & Cos. central saleyards, Little. River, on Tuesday. Tbe leases extend over a terra of five years, and the prices obtained were very satisfactory indeed, and in several cases almost trebled tbe previous tenfal. Mr Leicester rondncud the sale. Tbe sales were as follow : —

Lot I—B acres, situated at Kaituna, including a four roomed house and blacksmith's shop was let at £21 per acre per annum to Mr C. J. Arnold-

Lot 3—5 acres grazing on Main road, Big Bay, 10.? per acre, Messrs Parkinson and Quaife.
