The monthly stock sale wbb held at Duvau ehtlle on Friday, when there was a large attendance, but the yarding was only a mod=>rate one, consisting of about 400 wethers an ■ 908 bead of cattle. There was a fairly large yarding of beef, 73 head being included in the fat pens. Most of the fats were in a fairly forward condition and consisted chiefly of oows and heifers. Anything prime met with ft ready sale, and though the bidding was brisk at the commencement it lagged be* fore the end of fat pens were passed. Store oattle maintained their pricey and the sale for both fat and store cattle showed {slight improvement.
