The annual meeting of parishioners of 8t Peter's Churoh, Akaroa, was held at the Akaroa Boa , ing Club's shed last evening when there were present over 60 pari3hioai rs The Bey A H Julius, Vioar of the parish, opened the meeting with a prayer The churchwardens, Messrs 0 W Leete and T E Taylor, presented the annual report and balance sheet, which were adopted. The following officers were elected—Mr C W Le6te. People's Warden ; Mr £ E Tay lor. Vicar's Warden ; Vestry-Messrs H'Mot tram, G Checkley GOT Armstrong, fl B Newton, H G Youngman, W Jacobson?W W Williams, L Kay, T Stewart, and W H Buckland
After passing a number of votes of thanks the evening was spent in dancing and music,
