MISS. EDITH BRUCE NOMINATED Christchurch, April 27.
.The Board of Governors of Canterbury College met today. The Colleae Committee, recommended the Board that, subject to the consent of her father being obtained, Miss E. M, Bruoe be nominated for the Boyal Holloway College Scholarship, as submitted by the Professorial Board, be. adopted, with tbe exception that the amount £50 allowed ac travelling' expenses be reduced to £38. Miss Bruoe is the .daughter of the Akaroa County Chairman (Mr J. D. Bruce), and was educated at the Akaroa District High School,
