A most successful bazaar wag held at Afcaahua in Mr J, 0. Coop's woolshed ob Friday last, the proceeds of which are to ,be added to the fuads in hand for the purpose of buiidiDg a church at Kaituna,

The various stalls were tastefully arranged,' and a lot of useful articles wers cffered for sale. The Ladies' Guild of Kaituna, under the supervision of Mrs C. W, Field, has been working hard for the past two years, end 'the results of tbeir labours were seen in the array of goocte di->p!u)bd. The bazaar was openel by the Rev, Mr Fox, who eomplitnamed ibe ladiea on, the splendid exhibition '

The stallholders were:—Fancy Goods; Megdames Huiaton and Gray. Toys, etc.: Mrs M. Coop. Produce: Mrs Ferguson Confectionery : Misses Gray. Bran Tub: fldisa Dolly Field. , Refreshments: Mirß Carrie Welsb. Competitions. and Flowers : Mrs J. Barclay. Shooting Gallery: Mr Quealy!
