TERRITORIALS UNABLE TO
Christchurch, April 20,
The Mayor received a telegram from the Hon. H. D. Bell, Minister of Internal Affairs, stating that he bad <nade inquiries and consulted the law officers in regard to establishing booths in campe to enable Territorials to vote at municipal elections, and he had found that as the iaw stood it was impossible to carry out the pro posal.
