There-was a very la gn entry of
cattle nt Duvaucbellß ou Friday, nnd a Urge attendance. Then; wera ftboui 400 bead of csutle y*'ded &nri 100 head of *h«ep and lamb,! Tbe sale wks rather a drHgging one, but there was a great improvement on the previous month's sale, when nearly thio whole yarding was paggfd The reserves were, however, too high in, many tit Fridftj'a sale, »ad tn<* pas ings were fairly benvy. There wero very few ptiriie beasts yarded, but? these met with a good sate. The demand for atore cattle was not very keen, and the eoaroity of feed owing to the dry wea ther was probably the chief result for this. SpriDgen in a forward cfandi tion sold well. The calves yarded were mostly of a poor clasp, and did Dot meet with a ready sale.
