MacpbaiL The previous minutes were read and confirmed. Outward correspondence was read and approved; The clerk stated thai; the piledriving pear had been returned to thp Okiin's Bay Board. Also that at the, last meeting the memberg'had met to accept applications for the poeitions of one foremau and two surfacemen", the following being appointed :—Foternan, Mr G. Reeves; surfacemen, Messrs G, Anders-on and D, McLaren. Inward correspondence was read •-• From Mrs M. A. McGuHougb, requesting certain alterations to the valuation roll ■ ' The clerk was rr quested to advice the Valuation Department accord ingly. From Mr W. F. McCullougb, Stratford, re same. Contract Wharf Road Improvement. — Two tenders were received for this work, and on the motion of Mr A. F. Leonardo, seconded by Mr 0. Fredericksen, the tender of Messrs Barker Bros, at £227 18s 6d for tbe road, and £2 16a per chain for tbe fencing was accepted, subject to a minor mat ters being corrected. Carried unanimously. Arrangements were maJengarding the work mapped out for tbe forerrmu acd rnt-D, and Mr' Leonardo was instructed to make inquiries re hor.se and .dray. On tbe motion of Mr A. A. Mac pbail, seconded by Mr J. Petterson, accounts to the amount of £78 16s 9d were passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned.
