The Mayor has not lost his interest in the ( Lake Coleridge power scheme. -This morn' inp; he inspected tho work connected with the
transmission of the current from the Govern- ' ment substation nt Addington to the power house in Armngh street. He found that the cable has been extended from the substation for about ten chains into the South Park, and later on he stated that the contractors evidently wore making satisfactory progress.
