RECORD DRY SPELL.

A record dry spell ia being experienced here. The town reservoir, con. talcing 900,000 gallons, has to be carefully husbanded, and water can only be obtained for four hours per day. Almost all the oreeka are dry. The new Big River Mine has been compelled to close down. Other mine? will soon be affected, and rain is anxiously awaited,
