ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meating of the Akaroa Domain Board was tben held. Pre sent—the same gentlemen, tbe Mayor in the chair.

The minutes of the previous annual and ordinary meetings were read and confirmed.

Hia Worship the Mayor was ap pointed chairman for the ensuing year.

The Mayor, Messrs Munro, Vangioni, and Newton were appointed a management committee. The balance sheet was then read, showing receipts at £44 4s, wages £41 4s, extra labour £1 12s, material £14s.

The report and balance Bbeet were adopted, and accounts amounting to £11 103 were passed for payment. Mr Leete drew attention to tbe! caretaker's neglect to remove haystacks from the Domain. He had brought up the matter frequently, and nothing had been done. He considered tbey were a constant menace in case of fire, and the Board would regret the loss of the Domain when too late. He moved the caretaker be told definitely to remove the hay.
