DAY'S BAY BUSH.
Wellington, February 5,
Replying to a deputation, which urgpd that the Government should acquire the Day's Bay Bush recreation grounds ng a public reserve, the Premier eaid he was heartily of opinion that the bush should be public prop orty, and if the City Council and other local boriiea would agree with the owners as to price, the Government j would find part of the purchase money The Government would not, however, provide the whole of the money.
