Three suffragettes' firea Lave oc ourred. Aberuchille Castle, in Comrip, was destroyed, and also a quantity of valuable furniture. The second fire destroyed an unoccupied mansion in the sacne neighbourhood. The third destroyed a house at Saint Fillan's, Perthshire, belonging to Mr Stirl ing Boyd, whose wife is vice president of the Anti Suffragette League. Suffragette literature was found on the premises in each in ta nee.
