DUVAUCHELL'S BAY SPORTS CLUB.

FIRST ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING.

The Duvauchelle's Bay . Sports Club, which has been newly formed, will bold their first annual meeting in Mr A. R Prichard's paddock, Duvau chelle, on Thursday next, January 8. Arrangements have been made for a good day's outing, and everything points to a most successful gathering. The Little Hiver Brass Band has been engaged to play during the day, and there will be refreshment tents on the ground. An excellent programme is provided, the schoolboys' relay race being a special feature, seven teams having entered.

The handicaps for the running events have not, unfortunately, come to hand yet from the Canterbury Athletic Centre official?, but the handicaps will be advertised in next issue of the " Mail."
