The sale of work, in aid of tbe funds for the new Sunday School room for St. Peter's Churcb, will be held at the Oddfellows' Hall to mor row and Thursday, commencing at 2 p.m. each afternoon, Tbe Mayor will officiate at tbe opening. There will be variety entertainments both evenings, short plays by the Scouts and local amateurs aDci musical items being the main features. Rhodes, Whitham, Hester" and G. Haylock; apron stall, Mesdames Armstrong, Wilkins, Riches and Oheckley; sweets stall, Mesdames R. Newton, C. Newton, J. Rhodes and Mi 33 N. Haylock; M.O.L. stall, Misses E. Stocker, E. and I. Rhodes, L, Julius; bran tubs, guessing eompeti fcions, etc, members of Girls' Guild and M.Q.L.; produce stall, Mr and Mrs W, W. Williams. Parishioners, are asked to send in tbeir donations as early as possible. The proceeds are to be given to tbe building fund of tbe schoolroom. Two hundred pounds was set aside from the vicarage sale money for a schoolroom, and it is hoped to raise another £100 with the sale aDd collecting boxes, which will make £300 It is estimated that a suitable schoolroom will cost between £360 and £350. The object is to erect tbe new schoolroom before Easter 1914 free of debt.
