Apologies were received from Mr George Armstrong and Miss E. Masefield.
Accounts amounting to £23 9j were passed for payment, and 10/- voted to the Librarian for stamps supplied.
Tho financial statement showed a credit balance of £19 10s 9d after all the accounts were paid.
Arohdeacon Stocker's name wis added to the Selection Committee in place of Mr A, Gray.
Bey. A. H. Julius suggested the Selection Committee procure Scott's new book on the Antarctic, and Mr Thomas the second volume of the Hon. B. McNab's book.
It was resolved that a suitable chair be procured for the Librarian, and also that a duplicate key bs procured for the outer door, and arrangements made to look the door at 9 p.m. and open it again every morning. Key. J. W. Hayward gave notice of motion to move that the " Otago Witness " lie on the table for a fortnight only.
It was decided to discontinue subscribing So tha " Auckland Weekly News." The meeting then termfnated,
