At a large Liberal demonstration at lie Alexandra Palace there were ievorftl minutes of uproar from suffragettes and friends of Larkin. Mr Winston Churchill said there j was a strong opinion on both sides in' tuvour of a settlement for Ireland by lonsont, and a strong feeling that Nationalists should receive freedom and the means and money to make •self government successful, while Protestant Ulstar should somehow be satiffied and comforted, and tbe United Kingdom freed from Old World hates.
