At nil the business places nothing but strike talk is heard, and heated arguments ore taking place The morning, and especially the "veninn, trains are usual wait'd for to hear , ; f any ii w development. The loctl stores are well supplied with provisions, sugar hems the only artio'e tfa ■ t may run out if m tier? are not ol'ared up soon. Up to the esent nothing has been heard of regarding offer for free labour from Little River, but Bhjiilil the case demand it no doubt the oHse would be forthcoming The Railway Department is having a busy time with the extra amount of Rood i coming in for the Biiys. I f - is lucky we have the railway to depend on, or matters would be moreserious^
