So now I'll continue my wares to describe, .And first on the list to catch 'em alive, Is the new patent mousetrap, that never needs baiting, And pleases the mice, for it don't keep them waiting ; Mixed biscuits, Noah's arks, and saucepans enamel, Dutch hoes and fine pencils from hair of the camel, Swiss cigars, French fiddles, Yankee augers that travel, Jack-planes, Tomahawks, and shovels for gravel, Water monkeys, gold lockets, and eau-de-cologne, Scotch mixtures, brass cannons, shirt studs, pearl and bone, Plumbobs, oyster knives, and cherry wood pipes, Dog whistles, cow bells, with/string to fly kites, Jam jars, tissue paper, soft solder, 7 clothes pegs, Bird cages, stone lime, graters for nut- . megs, Tin whistles, note-paper, meat stands , with three legs, Wife: skewers, and grindstones, new eggs, Tool baskets, prize books, and' tackle focffishing, Iron, bedsteads, and frnders for parlor j * --. and kitchen, Tin pannikins, vases, bottle blacking, and cakes, Shaving brushes, good scissors, with gridirons for "steaks. So now once\gairi\l will bid .you adieu, Tho' my paper is f£sL, I'm not half-way through; '\ As a parting salute,' I'll add one other scrap, I'm off to the Council to have a short nap.
