FANCIERS’ SOCIETY

ARRANGEMENTS FOR DOG SHOW The Ashburton Fanciers’ Society has recently completed its preparation for its annual dog show to be held in Ashburton on December 2. Everything points to an outstanding show, as schedules have been inquired for from all over the South Island. The judges will be : Toy and terrier classes, Mrs Storey (Christchurch); other fancy breeds, Mr M. K. McDermott (Christchurch); working sheepdogs, Mr J. W. Lowery (Tinwald). Officials for the fixture have been appointed as follows : Show manager, Mr A. E. Tate; assistant-manager, Mr R. Skilling; announcer, Mr G. Greig; ring steward, Mr C. Pritchard.
