FARMERS TO CONFER WITH MINISTERS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 22. The 'Government has invited farmers’ representatives to attend a conference with the Prime Minister (Mi Holland) and the “Minister of Agricuh ture and Marketing (Mr K. J. Holyoake) on Friday. This was announced by the Prime Minister to-night! Mr Holland said: “The Government wishes to consult the farmers’ representatives concerning the problems associated with the present supplies and prices of wool, and to convey to them the latest information in the possession of the Government. “The Government and the various farmers’ organisations have been giving an immense amount of study to the problem, and the purpose of the conference is to have a frank exchange of opinions.”
