WAR OX “SNATCH” THIEVES * - LONDON. Metropolitan Police " are to employ more dogs in combating the activities of “snatch” thieves in the. Royal Parks and other areas of London. Last year there \yere 20 dogs on the strength of the Metropolitan Police Force— nearly all Labradors or Alsatians. So well have these canine “Bobbies” acquitted themselves that Police Commissioner (Sir Harold Scott) has decided to use more of them.—Reuter.
