SHIP BREAKS BACK
THROWN ASHORE BY CYCLONE (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) CALCUTTA, Nov. 20. The 4250-ton British freighter Skeldergate, which was thrown ashore in a cyclone last Friday off the coast of Orissa in north-east India, broke her back to-day with the master and seven of the crew still aboard. Fifteen of the crew have been taken ashore. , The Skeldergate had a load of Australian wheat for Calcutta.
