BEER-DRINKING RECORD

DUNEDIN IVLIN’S EFFORT V (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 16. Reginald Winn, of Dunedin, drank 62 lOoz glasses of beer between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at a Christchurch hotel to-day, thus breaking the record recently established by Edward E. Carl, of Kumara. Winn had a sojuare gin at 2 p.m., and after he broke the record had two medium glasses of stout, two glasses of lemonade and a pony beer.
