JAPANESE RETURN FROM U.S. ' TOKIO, March 13. Thirteen Japanese Parliamentarians, sporting Hollywood ties and American suits, and carrying popcorn, landed at the Tokio airport to-day, after two months’ study of American democracy. After disembarking from a Pan American Clipper, a spokesman for the party said: “American, democracy is wonderful. It is our duty to repay General MacArthur’s generosity by making it work in Japan.” The leader of tlie group, a veteran politican, Mr Takashi Yamazaki, told nearly 100 Japanese reporters: *We have now seen the fruits of a democracy, to be seen only in America.
