NEW DOMINION IN WEST INDIES

CARIBBEAN FEDERATION SUGGESTED LONDON, March 10. A Colonial Office report envisages the formation of a new British Dominion in the West Indies, linking all the colonies there in the British Caribbean Federation. A Federal. Legislature is . recommended, comprising a Governor-Gen-eral, a Senate, and a House of Assembly. The proposed federation would include Barbadoes, British Guiana, British Honduras, Jamaica, Antigua, St. Kttt’s-Nevis, Montserrat, Trinidad, Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Dominica. Trindad is suggested as the capital. Bermuda and the Bahamas do not fall within the scope of the report.
