Fire Destroys Cottage
(Rec. 10.30) NEW YORK, March 8. A family of eight perished early to-day in a fire that destroyed! their three-room cottage at Sandy, Oregon. ) The victims Aivere a husband and wife and their six children, aged from five months to 15 years. Neighbours said the cottage burned so fiercely that no attempt could be made to rescue the fami|y. An over-heated oil stove apparently caused the fire.
