Cosmopolitan Ship
The ship Asuncion tie Larnnaga, now visiting New Zealand, is owned by a Spanish firm whose headquarters are in Liverpool. In her crew of 40 there are Malays, Egyptians, Spaniards, West Africans, Peruvians, two negroes from the West Indies, a Filipino, and a Pathan from Pakistan. Her carpenter, formerly an Estonian, is now a naturalised British subject.
