The barometer is also again rising, and at 9 а. to-day it showed 29.56 inches, against 29.50 yesterday, and 29.24 on Saturday. Temperatures dropped sharply in the 24-hour period to 9 o’clock this morning, the maximum of 72.6 degrees comparing with 88.4 for Saturday, and the minimum of 51.4 Avith 55.6.
