AUSTRALIANS BEAT FRANCE INJURIES IN HARD GAME (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) PARIS, Jan. 0. The Australian rugby league team beat France by 29 to 10 after leading 1.0-5 at half-limp. The game was very hard and injuries were frequent. The referee had 1o call players on both sides together and Warn them about rough play. The spectators at one stage snowed their resentment of the Australians’ heavy tackling.
