FAIR AND WARMER (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Government Meteorologist, at noon to-day, issued the following statement regarding the weather:— An anti-cyclone extends from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand. Pressure is low to the south. The forecast for the east coast of the South Island from Blenheim to Oamaru to 5 p.m. to-morrow is follows:-
Light variable winds. Some areas of morning cloud, otherwise fair. Cool night, mild day temperatures. Outlook: Fair and warmer.
