RAKAIA BRANCH MEETING Mrs Harrison presided at the March meeting of the Rakaia branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers. A report on the interprovincial conference held at Timaru was given by the president. Miss F. Simmons gave a demonstration on first-aid and artificial respiration. Results of competitions were as follows : Bloom. Mrs Doak 1, Mrs Harrison 2; truss, Mrs E. Duncan 1, Mrs Richards 2; apple jelly, Mrs Stewart 1, Mrs Doak 2; oven cloth, Mrs Stewart 1, Mrs Dent 2.
