ASHBURTON MEN’S SUBASSOCIATION

ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of the Ashburton Men’s Hockey Sub-Association was lield last night, the president, Mr E. Kirlcman, presiding over a good attendance of members. Opening day was arranged for April 10, and the competitions will begin on April 17. * l Ail appeal is to he made for morn junior players. , The annual report was read and adopted, and the balance-sheet, showing a satisfactory credit balance, was also adopted. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr G. Bowman; president, Mr E. Kirkman; vice-presidents, Messrs K. G. Fowke, A. C. Vintent, A. Bennett, J. Irwin, H. Funge, W. B. Thomas and Dr. W. R. Ryburn; secretary,treasurer, Mr W. Moor; delegate to Canterbury Hockey Association, Mr C. H. Franklin; honorary auditor, Mr W, B. Thomas; delegates to Sports Association, Mr A. C. Vincent.
