Special Coin Minted to commemorate the visit, of the Royal Family to South Africa last year, one of the 300,000 special coins has reached New Zealand. Mr T. W. Attwood, of Auckland, a coin collector, wrote to South Africa about 15 months ago and has just received the special crown piece, believed to bo the first to arrive in the Dominion. Mr Attwood said that only a few hundred coins were minted for collectors and kept out of circulation so that it was unlikely that more than a handful would reach New Zealand.
