STRIKE ENDS IN JAPAN
STATE EMPLOYEES RESUME TOKYO, March 29. The sinking Japanese Go\-erninent employees, returned to Avork to-day, after instructions from General MacArtliur, but “vacation” strikes, are expected to continue. “We Avill use every other conceivable means, except a general strike, to get a minimum standard of living for the workers,” said Mr Kaznyoshi Dobasbi, bead of the strike eommitteee. “Labour cannot.be suppressed by force.”
Mr Dobasbi denied Hint the strike, which at one stage threatned to inA r nlvo nearly 1.500,000 Avorkers- and tie up communications throughout. Japan, was instigated by Communists. He said it was simply 7 a matter of securing the workers enough wages to 1 ive on.
